Money Management is an understanding that money is a tool. It’s literally paper, plastic and metals that we give value to due to societal norms. We have to understand that no matter what our income or earnings are, we have to live below our means. We must understand that if we work for someone else that our employment is at will and if we are self employed, we will hit rough patches. It is essential that we invest in ourselves before we pay a single bill or lend out money to loved ones. Money is definitely a tool that needs to be sharpened and respected, earned while working to improve our quality of life. We need to talk about what does and doesn’t work. How credit effects our buying power and how debt cripples our growth. Money matters yet it can not create happiness.
