Coca Cola Up Cycled Bottle Cap Radio from Soweto in Johannesburg, SA

This unique radio was purchased from a Shanty Town makeshift store in Soweto.  The bottle cap radio has a basic but effective design with rustic charm.  This radio was purchased to support the local residents after touring their homes and realizing that all that was needed was opportunity and respect. Coca Cola is a world known brand that can be found in any store or wooden stand often seen as a luxury beverage in under developed areas. This radio was meant to symbolize sitting back and drinking a cold coke on a hot day. As a bonus, it’s really cool!
